Welcome to runafel. These terms and conditions define the legal agreement between Sean Flannery and the clients who utilize our shoe repair services in Galway. By submitting your footwear to our Riverside workshop, you acknowledge and accept the following operational regulations.
Service assessment and quotes
Every pair of shoes submitted to runafel undergoes a detailed structural inspection by Sean Flannery or one of our three senior cobblers. We provide an initial technical estimate via support@runafel.site based on the observed wear and the materials required for restoration. This quote is valid for a period of fourteen days. We reserve the right to decline a repair project if the footwear is deemed structurally unsalvageable or if the internal leather fibers have suffered from advanced rot that prevents successful bonding.
Materials and craftsmanship
We utilize only premium replacement components such as Vibram soles and high density leather welts. Sean Flannery selects these materials for their durability and performance in the damp Irish climate. While we aim for a perfect aesthetic match, slight variations in color or texture may occur due to the natural properties of the leather. Our team of four technicians at 5 Seaman Dr follows established mechanical protocols to ensure that every repair enhances the longevity of the shoe.
| Service category | Warranty period | Technical scope |
| Full resoling | Six months | Bond integrity and stitching |
| Heel replacement | Three months | Structural stability and wear |
| Stitching repair | Six months | Thread tension and fiber grip |
| Protective vibram | Six months | Adhesive bond and surface grip |
Liability limitations
The restoration of vintage or heavily used footwear involves inherent technical risks. Sean Flannery and the runafel team are not liable for the failure of original materials that have reached the end of their biological lifespan. Our liability is strictly limited to the cost of the repair service provided at our Riverside facility. We do not offer compensation for sentimental value or for indirect losses resulting from the use of the repaired footwear. It is the responsibility of the client to inspect the shoes upon collection from 5 Seaman Dr.
Payment and collection
All services must be paid in full before the footwear is released from our workshop. We do not offer credit terms for individual repairs. If an item is not collected within ninety days of the completion notification sent via support@runafel.site, Sean Flannery reserves the right to dispose of the item to recover storage and material costs. All disputes arising from these terms will be governed by the laws of Ireland and resolved within the jurisdiction of the Galway courts.
